Where has the time gone? Mackenzie was 3 years old in this picture and Connor was 5 years old. Ten years later and look how much they have changed. I think my daughter is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and Connor's smile just makes me melt. I am very blessed to have healthy, beautiful and just really good kids. I am not sending out Christmas cards this year but I do reflect on the many blessings that Jeff and I have. Merry Christmas to all family and friends!!!

Mac's Lip Sync Show
At Mackenzie's middle school they hold a lip sync show every year. This year Mackenzie entered and here is her show. They had to put a dance together, along with singing the song to "Lip Gloss". For the family members that don't know that song, it's a hip hop artist named "Little Mama". All the girls did so great, but of course I think my daughter was the best!
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Month of August
Well, August was very busy. The kids had to think about getting ready for school to start but still had a few days of summer left. Connor played a tennis tournament at the Sony Ericsson in Miami. He and I had just been there 2 years ago to watch all the famous tennis players, so it was really great to watch him play on those same courts. He did really well against some really good players.
Mackenzie has started volleyball but refuses to let me take a picture. I bribed her though, and if she got a facebook then I could take all the pictures I want. Look for those soon!

Sushi has a new invisible fence and loves being in the yard without a leash. Here are some pictures of her flying through the air. She loves to jump over hedges and almost looks like superman!
The very last day of summer break we took the tube and wakeboard out in the intercoastal. What fun that was!! Connor and Mackenzie had such a good time together on it. I didn't want to do it but my daughter was begging me to go with her. It was an experience. My family said they had not heard me scream like that. Definitely did a major wipeout, along with the others. Jeff just drove the boat and we couldn't seem to get him in.
School has started today and they all seemed to have a good start. With Connor in 10th grade and Mackenzie in 8th, I am getting sad they will grow up and leave soon. Not going to think about that yet!!!

Connor's tennis
Connor was in his first national tennis tournament in Ft. Myers, FL. You have to be ranked and have a certain number of points to get into these tournaments. This is where he plays against kids who go to academy's or are home schooled and do nothing but play tennis for 5 hours a day. It was tough tennis and he lost the first two matches in singles. He then played doubles and got paired up with a boy from Arizona. They played really well together and won 2 matches. It had rained all week and finally the tournament had to cancel all doubles play and try to finish out the singles. He was disappointed because since he had lost in the singles round he now could not finish out the doubles. I am very proud of him and he knows he needs to work a lot harder to keep up with all these kids. We are off to Columbus GA for the next national tournament.

Kids Wakeboarding and Kneeboarding
We just got back from wakeboarding and kneeboarding. We have not been out in a year, but you would never know it from how good the kids are. They picked up wakeboarding as if they have never stopped. Connor got some good air on the board and Mackenzie was the pro at kneeboarding. Sushi came with us and it was the first time she had been out. I can't say she loved it, but she was a trooper and went along for the ride. Connor was doing a 360 on the kneeboard. Next it will be a flip on the wakeboard!
Month of June
Jeff and I just celebrated our 18 year anniversary. We can never remember how many years it's been. We went to a really nice place for dinner. One thing that is nice over the years is, I used to have to try and find a babysitter to watch the kids. It's come full circle when Mackenzie was babysitting for someone else last night and Connor just stayed home alone.

The month of May
The month of May has been busy with tennis tournaments, birthday party and planning my B Team Tennis luncheon. I am including pictures from all of these occasions. Mackenzie's birthday was in April but she had her party with her friends in May (tough getting everyone together.
My B team tennis luncheon was a big success. I pretended like I had Ukrainian women in to model the latest tennis fashions, but it was really the area tennis pro's dressed up like women. They really did a fantastic job and worked the room like the pro's that they are! After it was over, everyone said it was the best luncheon in history. I am so glad we have about 15 years break before we have to do it again!

Mackenzie's 13th Birthday
It was Mackenzie's 13th birthday! We didn't do much since she will be having a birthday party in a couple of weeks (it's spring break here and all her friends were gone). We went to a special lunch and then to the beach for a bon-fire. Here are a few pictures. The moon was out and really orange. Tried to get a good picture but this was the best we could do.

Connor can now drive-everyone off the road!
It's official!!! Connor now has his learners permit and can drive us all around. Jeff has been driving with him and said he was doing great. I let him drive for the first time with me yesterday and I was stressed to the max! He wants to hug the shoulder side of the road because he says he doesn't want to hit any cars coming from the other direction. Needless to say I was gripping the handle and trying not to scream to scare him. Once he gets comfortable I am sure he will be better. I so remember being at his age and learning. Of course we had to do a stick shift, and my kids don't even know how to begin to do that.
He will be great ---- one day!

Fun weekend
We had a great weekend. We all worked in the yard and Sushi just played around. I was spraying the patio and came out to see her like this! Needless to say she had a bath and then proceeded to poop black dirt the rest of the day.
These pictures are of Mac after dance pictures. She looked so pretty I had to take some of my own. It's amazing how grown up she looks.
